I am a huge fan of yours, and would like to begin by thanking you so very much for your contribution to British cinema. Your work is absolutely outstanding and one of the main reasons I have decided to fulfill my lifelong ambition of going to drama school next year, and hopefully becoming a successful actor!
I would just like to know if you would be able to offer me any advice, guidance or support as far as starting a career in acting. You obviously have been extremely successful, and I am hoping any such advice you can offer will help me to progress, as you have, so well!
I plan on attending The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) which was founded by Sir Paul McCartney. They appear to do very good acting courses and I have heard very good reports. The reason I have chosen LIPA is because the course fees are charged at a university rate, which allows students, who otherwise cannot afford RADA, for example, to get an excellent training in drama.
