It was only two months since we had first visited London to meet with Sir Christopher Lee. As luck would have it, Sir Christopher was called away at the last minute and was hence unable to receive us. But the warm reception we got from Mr. Juan Aneiros and Mrs. Christina Lee well made up for that.

My Encounter with Christopher Lee: November 2002

Arriving at the Cinema Store inside the Cornerhouse shopping complex in Nottingham, I saw there were about forty people queuing outside the store. I thought: "this isn't too bad" and went inside to purchase my items for Mr. Lee to sign. At the counter, the store assistant told me: "Mr. Lee will sign as many items as you like" - I was a bit suspicious of this, as I doubted very much that Mr. Lee would deny other fans the opportunity of seeing him by spending time signing multiple items for individuals. However, I purchased what I wanted signing and moved on.

Christopher Lee and Fu Manchu: Critiques and Interpretations

Rather than a review any particular one of Christopher Lee's Fu Manchu films, I'd like to focus in on (and refute) two critiques that have been raised by several writers and critics. One having to do with the image of Fu Manchu itself, the other specifically having to do with Mr. Lee's interpretation of the character. Return To The Wickerman

Ever since I first saw The Wicker Man at the tender age of 13 it's held a unique fascination for me . Yes it's a great film and features my idol Christopher Lee but ther'es more to it than that .

Living , as I do , on the West coast of Scotland I rarely got to see a film with recognisable landscapes and themes . Most movies either treated Scotland like Brigadoon or just ignored it all together .
