Dear Sir. Lee      ~_~

I never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that some day I "might" get the chance to tell you how much I admire your work.

And to also tell you of your part in giving me the most memorable birthday of my childhood  smiley

It was my 11th b-day and was the worst and best of them all.

Worst because my mother had passed away in a car accident 2 weeks prior, and yet best because of what my dad and step-mom did for me.

Firstly ( my younger sister and I moved 2,000 miles away from the rest of our family to live with them) ...they decided to throw me a party, so they invited the children of some of their friends. My step-mom found the same sort of paper popcorn bags that you would get in the theater (white with red stripes), and made pop corn, bought soda and candy. My dad... my dad rented a portable movie screen, a projector, and one of your first Dracula movies.

(I honestly can't remember which one, but I do know it was one of the first ones, as my 11th birthday was in 1973).  So there my little sister and I sat, on chairs in our small apatment, surrounded by other children we did not know, eating pop corn and candy, watching one of your movies.  laugh

I don't think my children and grand-children *really appreciate* why this was so special as they have grown up in a world with video and dvd players and the ability to watch a movie any time they want.    LOL

I went on to see every Dracula movie you ever made, and became a fan of yours that day.

I have enjoyed all of your work, and look forward to seeing you in more films, most especially the 2 Hobbit movies.

Congradulations on your certainly are deserving of them.

God Bless you and yours

It's been years, and quite a blast listening to this man in everything from film to television and now in music. I adore Sir Christopher Lee and have admired his talents in all he does, especially as an actor as he served for my inspiration in my experience in movies, including my upcoming portrayal as Eric Harris in the long awaited "Columbine" production slated for release in festivals across the U.S. (and hopefully the U.K.)!

I would like to state my deepend respect to this gentleman of gentlemen for being so considerate in what work he delves into in these years of his life. To be conservative, but seeking to still show true quality in "smaller roles", the "ones we won't soon forget".

And I look forward to his latest album, knowing full well and with complete confidence that it will deliver as the others have, past to present.

Peace to everyone within your family, and to those here at CLW! Love you guys:

Dear Sir Christopher,

I appreciate the opportunity to thank you for many years of so many emotions watching your films - from joy to fear to humor to wonder! Regardless if you were on the screen for often too brief a time, your characters are always memorable. It is wonderful that technology of today makes so many of your earlier films easy to acquire. I recently had some knee surgery and so had the chance to spend some healing time enjoying several of your wonderful films with the great Peter Cushing.

It is so inspiring to see how much you enjoy continuing to hone your craft. I look forward to seeing your 2012 films, particularly Dark Shadows (another show I "grew up" watching!). Wishing you a healthy, happy year and I look forward to your 2012 Christmas message!

With much admiration - Linda H-S
