I had always a little weekness for this film : "The Hands of Orlac"...Lee figures a sinister character , unsane, may be one of his best composition as "not-being -a-monster".
On this picture, the make up and the shadows of the light on his face make him really frightening !
Dont miss this film I you have not seen yet.
