Re: Dooku
Oh! When I read this post was tried myself to answer, but I didn't want to be the first person (I need to control me). But when the subject is cat... I love them!
It is really a charming picture this of Dooku. I like the way like him behaves, and taste stiller of the fact of your family to appreciate the company of those animals, mainly of these hairy ones that they are purring, biting, making juggling...
Sells Dooku reminded of an interesting fact involving my cat Leko that today is 7 years old.
Leko is a male cat, totally black and "complete" then he leaves a lot for " to see the female cats", mainly because I live in a city of the interior, tends like this, the cats, larger freedom.
Because it was in an of their returns for house that he entered for the gate bringing with itself a small cat, black like him and Dooku. Did Leko arrive meowing, announcing that he brought anybody (a son? ) maybe. Or he was adopting a lost cat. Leko took care of that small hairy ball as a mother, giving attention to him and always licking him. My daughter Valéria called him of SMALL, he should have little more than one month.
Unhappily Small it is not more with us due to an accident. But, as one more Cristina that loves cats, I can agree: to have a cat is not boring, no, it is entertaining and they make us each surprise!
I am bet Leko found Dooku, it would try to take it get, as he did with Small.
It is very pleasant to know that Mr. Lee also adores cats. I liked a lot of seeing him in the film Theater of the Horrors in company of his cat and I felt feather of Dr. Marlowe that had to sacrifice his pet.
A lot of amusement with your Dooku!
Re: Dooku
He is absolutely adorable, Christina. Good name, too. I think Juan chose well with this cat
.
Having pets is wonderful. Our dog recently passed, and it's been a bit strange since. When I've moved though, I'll be with a cat and a loveable, but sometimes dopey, dog.
Re: Dooku
Christina, if it doesn't go an abuse this request, please post more pictures of Dooku as he is going growing and becoming an adult cat.
I don't really get tired of looking for his picture. The cat Dooku presents an imposing pose, but he doesn't stop being sweet. Beautiful!
Re: Dooku
Oh, what a cute kitten you have there! Reminds me of mine although now, it's an adult. His name is Elwood Jr. After my first cat, Elwood, had gone, I thought I would never have found another cat like him. Well, I got myself quite a handful with Elwood Jr. But back to Dooku. Christina, you are lucky to have such a wonderful cat! Enjoy him and all the best to you and everone else here on CLW!
Warmest Regards,
David Claytonm a.k.a. Kevin.
Re: Dooku
He stays in, but most of the time he tries to escape. Either that or he falls/jumps out of the window which gives us both heart failure (but he has not done that in a while). He's nearly 6 months old now is about the size of a small car, well, not quite, but you know what I mean. I will post some new piccies soon.

Well, all I can suggest is a bell around the neck but that reminds me of twolumps.net (a webcomic about two cats, rather funny) or a sort thing in front of the window, dunno what it's called in English *sigh*
Re: Dooku
Thanks for the info Christina! Your cat rules! And choosing "Dooku" as its name was pure genius! I mean really? Count Dooku is THE best Jedi/Sith/Seperatist ever to live in the SW Universe! Congrats to you Christina ! Very well done Juan for picking up "Dooku" in the first place! Congrats there as well!:congrats:Take care to the both of you and I wish you only the very best in life! I would also like to wish "Dooku" the very best in his "lives" as well:wink:. Adios!
Warmest regards,
David Clayton a.k.a. Kevin.
Re: Dooku
I hope to see, Christina, the new pics of the your cat Dooku. He should be very beautiful, because it is also very well care and loved by all you. Does Mr. Lee also he likes the cat?
The yellow cat, of the picture, is not mine. I went to visit my uncle in another city (1 hour from where I live), he took us the a park to show the several types of plants... There I noticed many free cats for the place, poor cats... The owners travel in vacations and they leave their animals released for there. Another great problem is that the cats are going in the trees to feed of the nestlings of the birds in the nests.
I fear what can happen to the abandoned animals.
If it was allowed to take animals in the train and in the bus, I would have brought "Kurt" home. In spite that my female dog, doesn't support strange cats... Rabech (the female dog) it seats jealousies of Leko even (my black cat). Would Rabech like Kurt (blond cat)?
Desires everything of best to your Dooku.

Isabel, this is precisely one of the things that was touched upon when Mr Lee and Juan gave my mother and me the lift in the car. If I may be permitted to tell, Juan had said that Christina had gone home to take care of Dooku the pussycat, to which Mr Lee replied: "Oh yes, the pussycat!" I think that Mr Lee loves cats, and Dooku is so adorable from his pictures that I cannot imagine how anyone couldn't love him. But I think he can also be rather mischievous too!
Hmmm.... I don't think Rabech would like Kurt very much, Isabel! It's not for nothing that we say in Spanish "¡Se pelean como perro y gato!" But then again, you never know. Maybe they would learn to keep out of each other's way if they couldn't be the best of friends! I really love that new avatar, Isabel, and I can see why you wanted to take Kurt home! But one observation: Mr Lee's Kurt was dark-haired, yet this cat is blond! Would you dye his hair?!
Take care:
Warmest regards,
Andrés
Re: Dooku
The name " Kurt" for the blond cat was deliberate, exactly to the opposite. But how to find a cat for Kurt to be called!!! My cat black, all black, Leko, I thought to be very black to be Kurt.
But Dooku, cat of Christina & Juan is also black and Dooku, character of Mr. Lee no longer he has more black hair...... No, I won't paint the hair of the cat... hi,hi,hi....
Maybe I should call the yellow cat of Summerisle! But that is deeply difficult to pronounce.
My mother always says: " Chris (we spoke like this the his name home) he loves cats, then I stiller adore him."

Ah, but Andres, perro y gato can get along...That is how we got our cat..Our Golden Retriever brought the kitten home with her...So Gato and Shilo got on well together!...It is not always that way, but they can and sometimes do....
I am curious to know what Dooku got for Christmas!
Cheers,
Helen

Yes, that's true enough, Helen! Whenever I think of "perro y gato" nowadays I can't help chuckling, because I am reminded of Mr Lee doing Spike the Bulldog from the "Tom and Jerry" cartoons: "That's my boy!" Hehe! The combination of Mr Lee's face and Spike's voice is just too funny a mental image! Anyway, take care:
Warmest regards,
Andrés
Re: Dooku
"Se pelean como perro y gatos"
Rabech is an almost 16 year-old rottweiler, it is jealous nowadays.
Unhappily it stopped feeling well with cats, as it did formerly.
What does in the head of the animals happen???
We always gave a good example of loving the cats.
Actually I don't want to take a risk bringing strange cats home. Leko makes fool's Rabech, but other cat... I don't know.
Helen, is a good memory the present of Christmas of Dooku.
Re: Dooku
Isabel
What an adorable kitty-cat! He is gorgeous. He looks like Dooku
I shall be posting new photos very soon.

This cat of the picture is not mine, my Leko is also black, but he is 7 years old already. With certainty many of us, worshipers of cats, that we waited for new pictures of Dooku. :wavey:

Re: Dooku
Christina,
Thank you for sharing your story of Dooku (the fluff ball), and the picture. He is absolutely darling and who wouldn't be besotted by such a cute face. I loved the part about his tail going round and round like a helicopter!
One of the things I love about cats (actually all animals), is that no two EVER have the same personality!
Have a wonderful time with Dooku!
Cheers,
Helen
