I'd like to introduce myself: my name is Pam Stockbarger, and, as Pam Knox, I ran the Christopher Lee International Club, as it was called then, from 1977 to 1981, with a stint as Vice President from 1976-1977. The photo on the left is of me, taken at my workplace a few days ago; I am an Internet researcher for FM Global, a property insurance company in Los Angeles County. The photo on the right is Christopher and me in his Los Angeles home in 1978

Re: My Friend: The Master
The articles are back!! Wow, that's great, thank you Juan!
I missed Pam's articles; they are wonderful to read especially for someone like me, who probably wasn't even in elementary school when the CLIC was disbanded. Thank you, Pam, and I hope you'll find the time to write more of them (you said something about having two large diaries full of material
).

Re: My Friend: The Master
Thanks to Juan for putting the articles section back in. It is really great to read Pam's stories. She really has a knack of telling these with humor and such obvious joy at having been around Mr. Lee on so many occasions. I never was able to get into the CLIC, so this is the next best thing. Wonderful!

Thank you all for the nice compliments; I'm glad you are having fun with my reminicings...although Tau being in elementary school at the time CLIC was disbanded kinda made my bones creak  I'll try to write more articles...I just have to go through and separate the "Hey, that might be somewhat interesting" from the "if I tell them that, Count Dooku will sever off my hand with his lightsaber!"
Re: My Friend: The Master
I also thank Juan.
Hi, Pam. It is very good to read what you have to count. That he/she amazes to have such interesting experiences beside our great idol, Mr. Lee.
Congratulations for having had that opportunity. You are not a lucky person: You are blessed!
And me as foolish I am moved with what read and I feel my emotion tears. I thought now: " It is possible to see an angel, she saw one"
Write more and more. One time I read something on a kitten that Mr. Lee had, I don't only remember that you were who wrote.
:ciao:
Re: My Friend: The Master
Dear Pam,
I LOVED the article. Mr. Lee's such a sweetheart and it must've been a wonderful experience to work closely with him!
Other then that I was wondering; somewhere I read you posted a new article about Mr. Lee's cat. Could you give me a link or post some pictures here (or Pm them to me?)

[="Trebuchet MS"] "you are writing a fan letter to a famous actor and you expect it to be answered?"[/]
The answer for myself is: "No."
No. I don´t even try it.
I don´t try it, because it is not my nature to try something like this. I am a dreamer. The world belongs to hard people. Full of hope. People, which can handle, not dream.
And my nights and days are full of dreams. And I know, they never will be fulfilled. And I don´t care.
The first thing I have learned in my life was - it is often better to have something to dream, as fulfill this dream and be dissapointed of it. No, I don´t even believe, C. Lee could dissapoint me. No! But... It is better to keep my dream.
The point of this is (if it has a point
): the others could say, you are very happy person, because you have meet CL personally. I would say: you go and fulfill your dream. Without worrying to be dissapointed or rejected. This is brave.
And now I am sitting on my comp, reading your memories, smiling like fool and I am happy. Happy to know, that if I would have so much bravery to go meet CL, maybe... maybe I will be not dissapointed...
But, what about him? As I know myself, I will blame me. My english is not good, and I am afraid to cannot tell to him even: "Nice to meet you", not even in german or slovak! Yes, he will be dissapointed, or angry or annoyed of me! Better to dream...
But I am happy for you and for the others, which have meet him. And I am happy for him. For his existence. Strange? Maybe. But in my oppinion: the best on all things is the fact they are present. Because without their presence all it would be only a dream.
Thank you for you memories you have shared with us and sorry for all the gramatic mistakes.

Re: My Friend: The Master
