I have brought back a feature which was very popular years ago, the quiz section. It can be accessed directly for the navigation menu. You can enter quizzes and this time, you can also submit your own quizzes from the same page. It has a leaderboard which contains the names of the mebers with their own scores. This is a fun fuature intended to be used as a fun and learning tool.

I will try to upload some of the old quizzes but the idea is that members submit their own quizzes to test other member's knowledge. After you submit a quiz, it needs to be moderated so please send me a PM to let me know and also, post in this thread any issues of problems that you may encounter doing so. Right now, I am not sure if the feature is 100% stable. So you do need to tell me if you encounter errors.

Here is the direct link.

Re: Quizzes

It's great to see the quizzes back, Juan. I have just had a go at the Jinnah quiz and everything seemd to work OK. Well, everything except my brain - I only managed a paltry 30%!

Oh well, I'm going to blame it on the cold weather.......

Re: Quizzes

Stuart, that quiz is actually very hard and it has 2 or 3 trick questions.

Re: Quizzes

That's a good score Joakim, the quiz stops after 5 minutes so there is no chance to go and search for answers anywhere. You would most likely got wrong the trick questions.

Re: Quizzes

Oh dear... only 55% for me, I'm afraid. That was a really tough one, Juan. Well done, Joakim on getting 70%! ~scuttles off to consult some books/articles about Jinnah~ :creep:

Warmest regards,

Andrés

New Hammer Quiz

I've posted a quiz based on Mr Lee's Hammer films. I know it was a bit cheeky to actually take the quiz but I wanted to make sure it worked OK which it does.
I realise there are too many boxes to tick but as long as you tick the box next to your answer it should register properly.

Re: Quizzes

Matt, Interesting Quiz...........I have only seen a couple of the hammer films you use as choices in the quiz...And thus..........I got a perfect 0%!!!!!!!!!!!:girl:

So anyone else taking the quiz (no matter how low a percentage you get) you can feel good that you aren't the lowest score!!!!!:marchmell

Cheers,Wink
Helen

Note to self: Think I will pass on taking anymore quizzes....I like puzzles though....

Re: Quizzes

Great quiz, Matt - some real tough questions there! There were a few where I was torn between a couple of the options - looks like for most of them I picked the wrong one!

Very enjoyable though.

Re: Quizzes

Okay, maybe I shouldn't have tried these quizzes after a long day of dealing with customers, but I got my butt kicked on both! On Matt's Hammer quiz I scored a truly disturbing 10% and on Jinnah 50%. I think I need a lie-down now...

Re: Quizzes

I have just tried the Jinnah quiz. As I haven't seen the film yet, I think my score of 30% isn't too much bad, isn't it.

Re: Quizzes

Hello again everyone,

A truly abysmal 20% on Matt's Hammer quiz. Oh well... Very interesting questions, though. Take care everyone:

Re: Quizzes

Just looked at my score for the Hammer quiz. . . . OH DEAR. 20%. I've seen my fair share of them, but obviously I need to bone up on my trivia.
Pathetic!

Re: Quizzes

Don't worry Steve - I only got 20% too and have watched and read about many Hammer movies. Matt put together a really fiendish quiz there!
