Wow, this "competitions and games" forum sure is dusty.
Anyway, I really love solving visual brainteasers, as well as making my own and giving them to friends. So I thought I'd make a few about Christopher Lee's movies. It wasn't hard coming up with ideas because of course he's done so many! But a lot of them are "something" of "something", which is very hard to make a riddle our of.
Here's an example. A really easy visual brainteaser.
-------------------------

| FAREDCE |

-------------------------
I put in in a box so that nobody would mistake it as part of the text. Anyway, it means RED, "in" the FACE. See the "RED" in the middle of "FACE"?
Here's another one, which I don't think needs a box.
1. D 5.U | NO
2. R 6.L | STUCK
3. A 7.A | WHERE
4. C |
Which should obviously mean, "Count" Dracula. It's not my brainteaser though, I got Red in the Face and Count Dracula from a puzzle book my brother bought me. The one on the right is mine though, it's supposed to be: stuck "in the middle of" "no-where".
So, here they are, each brainteaser is the name of a Christopher Lee movie.

I would put an answer key, but it's funner to see everybody guess first. So, I'll put the answers up after somebody posts the right answer, or if most people put "I give up".
New Brainteaser!
You've solved them already? Good job they're all correct!
Anyway, I have a new brainteaser. Actually, 3 new brainteasers...

It's quiet easy.... So any die hard Christopher Lee fan should know what it is.... But for the 2nd brainteaser, I excluded part of the title because then it would be way too easy to guess.... So in the 2nd brainteaser the first 2 words are missing, but I think you can figure out what it's supposed to be...
Two new riddles
Came up with a couple of new ones:

This post is an oxymoron. While the answer to the first brainteaser is a very famous movie, the 2nd brainteaser is an obscure, "ancient" film Christopher Lee was in.
More Riddles
Came up with some more...
These are very easy to make because Christopher Lee has done so many movies that there's just a lot of choice. They shouldn't be too difficult for any fan. But these are very old movies though, very obscure and CL only had minor roles in them.

Very interesting concept to
Very interesting concept to liven up the competitions and games section, Catzd! Here is my best stab at solving the puzzles:
1) Triage (= "tri-age" 3 x AGE).
2) Alice in Wonderland (= "ALICE" IN "WONDERLAND")
3) To the Devil A Daughter (= "daughter" TO "Devil").
Anyway, I love games and puzzles. I hope there will be more to come
Warmest regards,
Andrés
