It realy is a joy to watch Mr Lees films in restored and digitaly remasterd versions with good sound and picture quality.

do we know if the other titles are Christopher Lee films or what region the DVDs will be in. I hope we in the US get to see this restored film as well as the other fans from across the pond

thats great, he was very good in his role as fu manchu, one of his best roles, ill be waiting for that dvd!

I too hope that some of these restorations make it to the Us.Since STUDIO CANAL seems to own a lot of the titles that ANCHOR BAY releases, perhaps they will be the one's releasing them stateside.

I'm especially glad to hear this, as the "Devil Doctor" is one of my favorite Christopher Lee characters.

I wonder how well these films will be received in these politically correct times ??

It was sad watching how the series, which began so strong, deteriorated over the years into cheap films.

By the way, here in the states, ACTION cable on DIRECT TV
(which shows a lot of Hammer, by the way) aired a decent print of BRIDES ...though it begins with a clip from the previous film that looks poorly scanned & grainy like a cheap kung fu film...
