I don´t know if I´m the onliest Club-member from Germany here.
But I know that I´m not the onliest Fan from Germany.
Christopher Lee has masses of german fans.
And so, of course , it was only a question of time that my country has honored him with this Award. It was more than only well-deserved. I really don´t go too far , if I tell you all that Germany loves Christopher Lee. And we all hope and think that this was not his last Award....especially not his last Life Time Archievement-Award.
Mr.Lee mentioned after the Award-Gala, that his career isn´t over yet. And that was not a joke !
Frankly I would say , that the most important part of his career has just begun. Yes ...there were many Highlights in his actor-career ....but especially his latest movies he has done make us clear what an actor of quality he is and that he still belongs to the most fascinated personalities on earth.
Senta Berger mentioned , before she gave him the Award, that he is a comedian ,a cosmopolitan, a crowd puller and a Star.........and we all know that this is true.....but she forgot to mentioned one thing.......that is, that he is also magical !!!!
I´m very happy that he received this Award and I´m also very proud !!!!

It strikes me that the award is certainly well deserved. By the sheer quantity of films that Mr. Lee has made, you might think that he may be singlehandedly keeping the video industry in business! 
I mean think of just how many films he has appeared in, and just how many of those are on video! The numbers for any other single actor can't possibly come anywhere near that amount. Kudos to the German Video Association for recognizing his remarkable contributions to the success of that particular industry.
And let me just take this opportunity to thank Steffi again for translating the video clip. Meine ohren sind mit einem österreichischen Akzent, anstelle einem deutschen akzent bekannt.
Congratulation Christopher Lee from another German fan!!! Since I saw you first in Dracula 14 years ago I am a long time fan (I´m 25 years old)!!
And as a LOTR-Fan I´m so happy to see you as Saruman in the LOTR-trilogy!
(I hope you will do the German dubbing for Saruman)

I have seen a few foreign movies for Mr Lee, and do believe that Mr Lee deserves this award in Germany.

I do sincerely wish that Mr Lee would continue to make more foreign movies... Germany, France, Italy...
It would trully express his diverse talents, and distinct and special personality,.. universally to all generations.
