Photographs from the Cimema Store signing have been uploaded to the Image Gallery. These photos where taken by Keith Mayhew, who was our official photographer for the event. Both Mr Lee and I would like to thank Mr. Mayhew and also Trevor Ball for arranging this for us.
The photos can be viewed here
I just got back from the above signing, it was great.
I met up with Jurious and her friend Martain.
We was some way back, but we heard that Mr. Lee was about to come out of the lifts, so we all rushed over there to get a photo of him coiming out. Then we heard a shout and turned around to see Mr. Lee coming up the escalator.
At that point every one started to clap and cheer, I think Mr. Lee was taken back by this, as he just stoped, look around and waved, Mr. Lee had a very big smile on his face, and he looked a litte shocked.
every one had a good time and on one complained about the wait, It was very hot in there.
There was people of all ages there from small children to the olded ones like me, There was even a blind lady with her dog.
To see all their faces as they came out was a picture.
There was a que from the shop, on third floor to the ground and out of the shoping center halfway down the road.
some one said there was over 700 people waiting to see Mr. Lee.
The shop had sold out of every thing they had on Mr. Lee, and thats by the time we got to the shop!
This time I took my camera, and I have over 30 pic's of Mr. Lee,
I hope that they all come out.

Well I was very disappointed. Cued for 4 hours then was turned away when we got to the third floor. My poor friend cued 5 and a half hours and was also turned away at the last minute. I think it would have been nice for The Cinema Store to let us know at least an hour in advance that we wouldn't have made it.
Also I heard you could only have 2 things signed but some people took the micky and had a ton of items signed whch was unfair. They were most likely unpersonalised and on Ebay now.
Does anyone know if this was true, if so I'm gutted. I was looking forward to meeting Christopher Lee for ages and missed out on a personally signed item.

I agree, they should have told you well in advance. But in regards to people getting 5 items signed, that is not true. At the beginning, a few had a couple of items signed "ALL PERSONALISED" without exception. Afterward, he only signed one item per person and that was it.
Mr Lee got home at 9.30pm after a 3 hour journey by car to London, not too healthy for an 80 year old.
I am sorry that you did not get to met him and couldn't get an item signed. It is very sad after having to wait that long, not to mention that a lot of people who turn out at these events are not fans but opportunists. As for dealers turning up and trying to flog items in Ebay, they don't stand a chance. After the London signing, we caught a few lying and disgraceful low lives trying to sell personalised items by either failing to mention it in their auctions or cutting the personalisation out.
A wasted journey and a chance of meeting Mr Lee, is very disappointing indeed.
I forgot to add that despite crippling nerves, I managed to bleat out my question and ask Mr Lee whether he would be making nay more CDs. He repleid that he hoped to, but it was a question of finding the right material. He finished by saying that the music industry was in a bit of a sorry state and I blurted out "thank you very much" and it was over all too quickly!!!
I queued for about 5 hours at Nottingham to see him and I think I was probably among the last. The posters said that Christopher Lee would stay until 5pm but I'm sure he stayed longer. I'd like to thank him and the staff at The Cinema Store for making it an amazing day!
I took some pictures too:
Me and Mr Lee.

My signed AOTC book.
There are some more pictures on my website here. Check the news section.
I'm so sorry for the people who, after queuing , failed to get a chance to see Mr.Lee. It must be quite disappointing, especially if you've travelled far and queued for ages. I got in the building before 11:00am, and didn't get in to see Mr.Lee until about 4:20pm. I think alot of people - including myself - don't realise exactly how popular he is now. I wanted to get there early to hopefully be one of the first in - I'm glad I at least got there early. It was worth the wait.
I would love to further thank Mr.Lee for a wonderful day for those of us who did get the chance to meet him - I think to be doing what he does at his age is very admirable, and I have a magnificent respect for him. There aren't even many young actors who would do what he does. I really feel very honoured to have been as lucky as I was to meet him.
I was nervous! Very nervous! I've never been so nervous - and I don't think I've ever shaken so much in my life, either!
LOL
Thanks, Star38 - they seem to have come out well! I'll share some of mine once I get them developed...
I can believe I was there, now I have the evidence, but I still can't remember what I said or did clearly... :erm: and I never will.

I'm taking my camera to Notts tomorrow; I'd love to be as lucky as the fans featured and get a photo with Mr.Lee.
The photos are beautiful!
