Just thought I'd like to say how excited I am at the prospect of the new movie .
I've always liked Malcolm McDowel ( he'll be great as an ageing Holmes ) and the thought of Christopher Lee as Moriarty is a fans dream .
Another good thing is that , hopefuly , the film will not be special effects laden . So , unlike LOTR & Star Wars , we wo'nt have to wait forever to see it . I'm looking forward to it .

I've known about this film for about 6 months, but wasn't able to mention it until now.

The film's not made yet but it was announced in various web sites about 4-6 months ago . It was discussed at length on the aint it cool web site .
Given that Mr Lee announced it on This Is Your life and the fact that I asked first I just thought I'd whet everyone's appetite .
