After all, we are not speaking about a common person, we spoke about a great and wonderful actor and of a person persistent, nice and very kind. Our KING! Our IDOL.

An extremely well-deserved HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you, Sir. Your work provides my family with endless entertainment and enrichment, while your example and outlook give us continual inspiration and encouragement.
Meeting you in Arlington, Virginia, in 1999, and having the opportunity to sit in an auditorium and listen to you speak, was one of the most unforgettable periences my wife and I have enjoyed together. I pray that one day our three sons (who have come along in the meantime) will have the honor of meeting you as well.
Each year on your birthday, my family has celebrated by viewing one of your films. This evening, we will enjoy something you have identified (at the aforementioned talk) as one of your proudest career accomplishments: The episode of Saturday Night Live you hosted in 1978 (just released on DVD).

Wow. 86 years old! I can hardly believe that! Mr. Lee, you are an amazing fellow. I hope I have as much spirit as you do when I enter my 80's.
Many film projects are coming up, and ALBUMS? On top of that, you have a life outside film and music. That is very amazing indeed.
I digress, I hope you have the happiest of birthdays today and I wish you another year of great things and I look forward to seeing you on the big screen again, as well as listening to you in my CD player.....and just hearing about how everything is going!

Mr. Lee is at the set of Triage, in Ireland and working really hard. 4 whole script pages he needs to learn and delivery every day. That's more lines than any other movie he has been in but he is very happy. He likes very much the people he is working with and they all are quite aware that they are working on a great movie.
Today the Spanish crew cooked some "Tortilla" for him, which he loves. Normally he has it with some artichokes , and then they brought him the biggest birthday cake he has ever seen. He was sung Happy Birthday in Spanish and in Irish.
Anyway, I have read him all your posts and he would like to thank you kindly for your wishes.
