Variety reports that Sir Christopher Lee has signed up for a role in the drama "Night Train to Lisbon", based on the philosophical novel by Pascal Mercier and directed by Bille August. The story centers around a retired Swiss professor who goes on a lifechanging journey to find an author who inspired him to leave his boring life behind him.
The formidable cast includes Bruno Ganz, Vanessa Redgrave, Melanie Laurent, Lena Olin, Lee's "Boogie Woogie"-Co-Star Jack Huston and Jeremy Irons.
Pre-production starts in november, filming is scheduled to begin in March 2012.
