Hi Everyone, I was experimenting with searches on Mr. Lee and came across this photograph of Mr. Lee during a recording session.
In 1977 an album entitled the 'King of Elfland's Daughter' was released. Mr. Lee narrated the story for the album.
If you have the time and are interested, here is the link to the picture:

Re: Photograph of Mr. Lee
Great picture, it is always good to see a Master at work. The man could narrate absolutely anything and I would listen. He just has one of those voices you love to listen to. Kaitlin
Kaitlin, What you say is true!
Although I love to listen to Mr. Lee sing with Rhapsody and his new album 'Revelation'...I think my all time (absolute) favorite vocalization by Mr. Lee is Stravinsky's 'The Soldier's Tale'....Mr. Lee is phenomenal; he vocalizes ALL of the parts!
If you haven't ever heard it; try to find it.....Absolutely Brilliant!
Cheers,
Helen

*grumbles* Everyone around here has ' Revelation' but I just can't buy it anywhere. Not on our site 'bol.com', E-Bay or anywhere!
Curse the fates.
Great photo, btw. I just love Mr. Lee's face...as if it were carved by an artist.
Or to make a lame joke: "God must have had a good day when he made Mr.Lee."
Re: Photograph of Mr. Lee

Re: Photograph of Mr. Lee
*nod* I am aware that things are for sale in the CLW shop and on Amazon.com, but for both you're required to have a creditcard.
I'm only eighteen, don't trust that junk and keep it at deposit transfer cards.
And with that crappy education group withdrawing money from my account at random. *waves angry fist at* Keep yo hands of mah blingblings!!! GRR.

Or to make a lame joke: "God must have had a good day when he made Mr.Lee."
There is a passage of a Brazilian music (Armandinho) that says like this:
When God projected you, he was of courtship in the beach of the one of the love, in the beach of the love... " :dancing:
A lot of people are offended with this, but I believe that this as poetry no there is the one to offend.... and I conclude saying that your words Jenifer are true.

Re: Photograph of Mr. Lee
Hello everyone,
Thank you for the link to that site, Helen. It has some wonderful pictures, and not just of Mr Lee either! I found some really great ones of Peter Cushing too, by running a search for him on the database. I think the image of Mr Lee wearing the scarab comes from the series "The Tomorrow People" (Mr Lee appeared in the episodes called "The Rameses Connection"). I distinctly recall that Mr Lee's character, Sam Rees (a.k.a. Rameses Ak'Hara) wears a scarab brooch like the one in the photograph. Anyway, thanks again. Take care:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

Re: Photograph of Mr. Lee
Hello again everyone,
I just wanted to join Isa in welcoming Aranka to the site. Aranka, I hope you will enjoy your time here at CLW (Christopher Lee Web), and I look forward to reading more of your posts in the future. Although I don't speak any German, I believe the correct phrase is "Willkommen bei CLW!" (or so the translator tells me). Be sure to explore all the different areas like the multimedia gallery, the articles, and the archives, as there are many interesting things to be found. Anyway, take care and all the best:
Warmest regards,
Andrés

Re: Photograph of Mr. Lee
thank you andre, it is so nice to feel welcome, i'm so proud of me lee. I am surprised he is still filming, i hope he is taking things easy, he is not a spring chicken anymore (sorry if i have offended you), i recently ordered a 12x8" photo of mr lee as a youngish man from Movie Market. Cannot wait for it to arrive.
Re: Photograph of Mr. Lee
Mr Lee is certainly full of surprises! It's true that he isn't a young man anymore, but I'm glad to see that he's still going strong, and remains as active and enthusiastic about his work as ever. I think he's quite remarkable to have so many projects on the go at this stage of his career, and I hope he continues to work as long as he is still able to meet the challenges and demands put to him, and as long as he continues to enjoy what he does, which is very important. Take care everyone:
Warmest regards,
Andrés
Re: Photograph of Mr. Lee
I think it is so wonderful that Mr Lee is able to do what he loves I know for my own part I would really hate not to be able to teach anymore, or sing or play the piano. It is what I've done all my life, and Like Mr Lee it is a passion. I believe fully in following your bliss as long as you possibly can, it is after all the basic part of your life.

Re: Photograph of Mr. Lee
I had seen this picture there is a time behind isolated of explanation. Well that whole champagne.... frisante.... pleasant commemorations with certainty.
