Hi all! Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. I have been very busy! I have a whole bunch of news related to Sir Christopher (I saw "Triage", I listened to "Charlemagne", "Burke and Hare"...) but right now I just want to focus on one of his more recent projects, Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland".
I saw "Alice" and I must say I was VERY impressed. As a sequel to the original books, it was very successful! No wonder it is such a collosal hit! Sir Christopher plays the voice of the Jabberwocky, and while he only has two lines...they are showstopping!! Without giving too much away, I will say that I think if the Jabberwocky had spoken anymore, he wouldn't have been quite as scary...and yet I cannot imagine anybody's voice, other than Sir Christopher's, coming out of that epic creature. It was a perfect match.
Well today, the official "Alice in Wonderland" Facebook page posted a special treat for us. It is a video of Sir Christopher BRILLIANTLY performing the poem that inspired his character in "Alice", "Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carroll. It is wonderful. Sir Christopher is my favorite actor, and I the stories of Lewis Carroll have been my favorite ever since I was a small child. Hearing him tell the story of "Jabberwocky" was a dream come true and it literally brought tears of joy to my eyes. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Re: Sir Christopher Performs "Jabberwocky"
I was saddened by his small bit of screen time... I was also disappointed in the movie! Shocking, considering I generally love Tim Burton.
