I'm a big Youtube junkie thanks to one of my friends via the internet and I was like; why not look for something of Mr. Lee and oh yeah I found something of Mr. Lee. Click on the link and watch Mr. Lee sing, it's really good and for some reason it makes me laugh a lot.
Mr. Lee has an amazing voice!
Re: Something some of you might remember of Mr. Lee in Captain i
Oh boy, that is WONDERFUL! I can see why he took the role -- its a real type smasher! Didn't the writer/composer of Rocky Horror do this? (Richard O'Brien?) I can see his hand, and his (ahem) suspenders (garters) in this musical number. Gosh, I wish Chris Lee had the opportunity to do more musicals. He's GREAT!
Thanks for making my day!

Maria, that's brilliant! Thanks! I've not seen Captain Invincible, but I really wish it was available in England!
This movie had a dvd release in 2003 (US, Elite Entertainment) and is still available, for a bargain, on e-bay
The dvd itself (even when some sellers say it's region 1 only) is region 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 encoded.
So it 's playable on every dvd player

Sometimes I wonder you're not some kind of spy. YOu know everything!
I just love the song. It makes me giggle a bit because despite Mr. Lee's a villain he looks most well  attractive and his voice is brilliant!
Oh and for those who don't quite understand it or are just plain curious like I.
Here are the lyrics!
Mai tai say that i'm old fashioned,
tres vin ordinaire
that i want a fresh manhattan
with white anglo-saxons everywhere?
a black russian's no pink lady
give her a singapore sling.
and moscow mule is not your baby
so highball the vodka, and name your sting
be a big shot, with a bullshot
be a schwein mit der wein
have a short, or a port, or a snort, of any sort.
asti spumante . uno chianti.
Are divine!
I got some economic hocks,
a gin and tonic on the rocks.
where angels fear to tread, i say-
choose your booze! let's hit the red-eye!
think of young deanna durbin,
and how she sung on rum and bourbon.
or enhance your luncheon hour
with a planter's punch,
and a whiskey sour
if you feel like a wreck,
try a horse's neck
or a sherry with a cherry in the new fun size-
If you don't name your poison
i'll have to get the boys in
the spirit of adventure opens ones eyes
if you don't name your poison
i'll have to get the boys in
and you'll never see another tequila sunrise
Live happily ever after
with a chablis and some laughter.
between the sheets is lovely
with a dizzy blonde and a bottle of bubbly
there's nothing sicker in society
than a lack of liquor and sobriety
so! down the hatch. here's mud in your eye!
take a bracer with a chaser, wash it down with rye!
bottoms up, stirrup cup!
it'll put you in the pink.
And all you have to do is
Drink, drink, etc

Yes, "Name your Poison" was written by Hartley and O'Brien, the Rocky Horror people. As far as I know, "Mr Midnight", the duet sung by Christopher Lee and Alan Arkin in the same movie, was also written by them (I have to go check that one).
By the way, there is a "Rocky Horror" recording available featuring Christopher Lee as the Narrator. It's only a studio recording, though. Pity
.
@Jacob: thanks a lot for that info! I always wanted to show that song to people who don't believe that Christopher Lee can play anything but the sinister villain, but I always believed what it said on the box (Region 1). I'll test it next time I'm at my parents'.

Jacob! Thanks so much for letting me know - I've been on ebay and I'm bidding on one already! It's always been high on my list of films I've wanted to see with Mr Lee in, so it's great news.
All the best,
Ben
Re: Something some of you might remember of Mr. Lee in Captain i
I found this movie by accident and bought it at Barnes and Noble. I usually find my movies there or I get my rare movies from New York to almost a private warhouse. I get the rarest films of Mr. Lee and they are in excellent conditions. I have bought most of his Dracula films and some other that I got. So I have about 30 films plus getting more.
:congrats:
Thanks,
Amber
