Who do you root for in THE WICKER MAN, the "heathen" Laird or the "Christian copper?"  Oh, what the hay, let's throw a few more characters in.  There are so many great 'minor' characters in this film. Who's your favorite -- the canny school-marm (oh, by the way, anyone else get the impression that Miss Rose is the power behind the throne at Summerisle?); the "landord's daughter"; or the nudist librarian to name but a few?

I'm voting for Ingrid too, simply becasue I met her for the third time (And got another kiss!) the other day and she said something that made me laugh.

Ingrid was saying that she thinks the proposed Wickerman script would be a disaster because the original should be a one off classic. I said that Christopher Lee said it was a good script. (He said that didnt he?)

And Ingrid said:

'What does he know?'

LOL!  :)

We all know that Ingrid loves Mr.Lee though - so she didnt mean it like it sounds!

We were talking for about 45 mins. (Just thought I would add that bit to make you all jealous!)

Of course I would vote for CL if I had 2 votes, but it would be a boring poll if everyone voted for CL with no reasons.
(Though I do think Lord Summerisle is the best character!)

Have u all heard that the studio Ingrid was going to be filming in for a new shopping program on horror stuff got blown up the other day just before she was suppose to start!
TRAGIC!

I vote for Lord Summerisle as "hero"; he's open-minded, courteous, hospitable, has a lovely sense of humor, takes good care of his people, and provides his guests with illuminating entertainment. Sometimes he actually makes his guests the illuminating entertainment, but his parties are to die for, yes? :1roll:

My vote goes to Lord Summerisle....but a very close second would be the wonderful Ingrid Pitt.
...And Greg i'm extremely jealous.
