The website of "The Wicker Tree" has finally gone online and provides a first teaser trailer, photos, video interviews and music.

The film looks low budget, but quite interesting. What a pity that Sir Christopher was not able to play the part that was written for him, Sir Lachlan Morrison. Would have been a great role. He does however have a small cameo and is listed in the "cast"-section of the website. The role is not revealed.

You can find the trailer here:

Thankyou for that link Steve. I recognise most of the cast, from British productions and very accomplished actors and actresses they are. Will be interesting to discover Sir Christophesr role.

Re: "Wicker Tree" website, teaser trailer

It's been deleted because of inappropriate content, probably the nudity in the trailer.

But it's now on the official website:

I like the trailer very much. But let's be clear: This movie is probably not suitable for everyone. The trailer shows some glimpses of violence and sex. And there's certainly more of that to be found in the film. The trailer creates a nice atmosphere of mystery and fear, but I think some of the actors are not very good. And of course if would have been nice to see Sir Christopher as Lachlan Morrison instead of the cameo role as the grandfather of young Lachlan (in a flashback).

I seriously cannot wait for this film. True Sir Christopher is only in it for a brief appearance, but I'm glad he got to at least be a part of it. It will also be nice to see some Robin Hardy work again. I'm an admirer of him and I am sure he has made a great film.
