I love all the Lee Dracula films, but the one I have watched the most has been the 1968 classic Dracula Has Risen From The Grave. This film is just so superb in every way, and I would even go as far as to say that it is the perfect horror film.

Not forgetting, of course, is the fact that it features my all time fave Hammer actress, Veronica Carlson!

What is YOUR most watched Dracula film, and why?

The most gruesome scene in a Lee Dracula film, I have to add, has to be in Dracula Prince of Darkness, where Charles Tingwell gets his throat cut by Klove to resurrect Dracula. I still get the collywobbles even watching it to this day!

Re: Dracula Has Risen From The Grave: My Most Watched Drac Film

I have two "most watched" if that's possible - the first one and the French film, Dracula pere et fils.

I like the first one because the viewer anticipates the arrival of the Count and the expectation is that an evil looking Count is going to appear.  Instead, we see a charming and handsome man.  The first time I saw the film, this was quite a surprise.

I love the French film, mainly because Sir Christopher looks extremely elegant, especially in 18th century dress.  The humour is also excellent.

I love all the Christopher Lee's Dracula films, and I have all the Dracula films in DVD, but my most watched Dracula film is "HORROR OF DRACULA".

I like all of the Dracula films...each one has something special about them.  Dracula has Risen from the Grave is one of my favorites because it is beautifully filmed. In some shots, Dracula actually becomes part of the scenery!

Of all of them, my most watched is Scars of Dracula....I have the special edition dvd and I like Sir Christopher's and director Roy Ward Baker's commentary on the film.

I like all of the Dracula

I like all of the Dracula flix......and I just love when he films these " Vampire spoofs "  ( mainly accross the pond )
I wish they would dub them in english and show / release them over here, like on Netflix !!
He's got a lot more of a sense of humor than ppl give him credit......I think, anyways !!

Cheers
Christine

Re. Scars of Dracula Special Edition

Wow, that is so cool that you have the Scars of Dracula Special Edition DVD. The one I have, unfortunately, does not have the Lee commentary. Where did you get the Special Edition DVD? Would love to have it in my collection.

Scars of Dracula dvd

Alan

i purchased my special edition Scars of Dracula dvd on ebay. It was done by Anchor Bay and includes a bonus disc "The Many Faces of Christopher Lee". Amazon may be selling copies of it too. Christopher Lee fans will enjoy his commentary on this film and the packaging/extras
