My Mum was a member of the Christopher Lee International Club, which was based in Sussex. She was a huge Christopher Lee fan, she managed to meet him at one of his conventions in this Country, in 1974/1975, and has built up a huge scap book of cuttings, she also had a typwritten Biography of his life from when he was born, his marriage birth of his Daughter, the films he has starred in, it also includes a part from when he appeared on 'This is Your Life', in 1974. It finishes in 1976.
I just wondered if any of it was of interest to any Christopher Lee fans out there. As sadly my Mum has recently passed away, I discovered all this stuff when I was sorting through her things recently.
If anyone is interested I would be happy to send it if the postage is paid for. Just pm me if you would like any more details.

Karen, I am very sorry to hear that you recently lost your mom. I know that sorting through personal items is a difficult and heart wrenching task during this time. I think it is wonderful of you to offer her memorabilia of Mr. Lee to members of the CLW; rather than just tossing it in the bin.

Karen, siento mucho lo de su mamá. Yo también perdí a mi mamá y sé lo doloroso que es.
Y cuando una tiene que poner en orden sus pertenencias duele cada cosa que uno va viendo porque te trae recuerdos.
Lo de mi mamá fue de un momento a otro cuando nadie lo esperaba, y eso duele más.

I just wanted to say that I was touched by reading your post. I am very sorry that your mother has recently passed away, and that you find yourself here at CLW at what must be a very sad and difficult time for you right now. I would like to offer you my condolences, and also to echo what others have said about how truly considerate it is of you to wish to make your mother's collection on Mr Lee available to someone else. I do not know whether you share your mother's interest in Mr Lee, but I think what you have done is really wonderful and a lovely way of ensuring that something which your mother made and must have derived great pleasure from finds a new home and may be enjoyed by others.
