So, Here's that puzzling time honored question.. what is the difference in Member (listed under your name). Senior Member and Junior Member pray tell? I'm just curious. I've been a site member since 2001, a fan club member when it was active and of course am still around. I've ALWAYS been a "junior member" . Does anyone care to speculate on this ?
Just a bit of puzzling before the new year hits.

Re: Juniors - Seniors and Members ?

well Sandra, i have been a member since (2001) as well. buut Juan had to change my screen name or something back in (2003) i forget exactly why? i had completly forgot THAT even happend until i looked at my 1st post. anywys enough about little ole me. my guess is that you have ONLY 18 posts. & are considred such because you haven't posted that much in this past 6 almost 7 yrs. while i have what this is going to be my 649th post.

other than that it's pretty much anybody's guess. i don't understand how the reputation points work either. cause there are people who have MORE posts than I do & have none. it IS MIGHTY confusing. i hope i helped well somewhat. did i?

Hi Sandra

As Don has touched on, I believe the member status goes on the number of posts you have made and thus, the number of contributions made to the site forums. I'm not sure what number of posts you have to reach for your status to change though.

Don, I think the reputation points come from members clicking on the 'add to reputation' icon on everyone's forum posts. if you think someone's post deserves some recognition you can click on the icon. I think that's the way it works anyway - I am sure Juan could clarify that for us.

Re: Juniors - Seniors and Members ?

Hello everyone,

As those before me have said, the difference in "member status" is related to the number of posts one has. I think you start off at "Junior Member" until you reach 50 or 100 posts (not sure which), then "Member" which I believe is until you reach 500 posts, and then there is "Senior Member". I have also seen a select few with "Ultimate Member" which I suspect is for those who have reached 1000 posts. But I would think Juan knows the exact facts and figures for this. Anyway, take care everyone:

Warmest regards,

Andrés

Hey Stuart, i thought so. i am also guessing that you are right on those figures. i myself don't post as many of you here. ONLY when i see a subject i like. or something like that. hehe anywys, my guess Sandra is wait until you reach 50 & ya stautus will of course in due course change. well automatically i HIGHLY doubt that you'd have to contact Juan for him to change it. it should be built in automatically. ya know? also my suggestion is just post more than you have SINCE you became a member!!! that'd be my suggestion

AH! Well that would decidedly affect me since I don't post a whole lot. I enter the contests and such but generally decided that if I didn't have anything to say... I shouldn't say anything at all!
Merry Christmas EVERYONE!

Well, there's another post, Sandra, and one step closer to changing from "Junior Member" to "Member". I would really like to read more of your posts. Don't feel shy about posting! Even if you feel you don't have much to say, I'm guessing you might have questions or comments to make. I felt the same way as you do when I first joined, but everyone here is so friendly and kind, and, once I started, I found myself posting more and more. Anyway, please think about it. Merry Christmas to one and all:

Warmest regards,

Andrés
