I came across several write-ups on the 1972 movie "Nothing but the Night". But it seems to be a movie of Mr. Lee's that never made it to video. Is this true? I have done multiple searches (CLW and Internet wide)to no avail. Or did I miss something somewhere?
Anyone have information on this? Thank You for your time and help.
Cheers,

Thank you for your help. I did do another search and found a couple of copies of the Dvd on e-bay also. They are not identified with Mr. Lee, so you have to do an all catagory search of the movie title - they are also fullscreen versions. Have a great day. Cheers,
Re: Nothing but the Night
This film was actually released on VHS video in both Canada and the US, or possibly just Canada, at one point. When searching for used VHS copies of "Nothing But The Night" it is worth noting that the North American video release title was actually "The Devil's Undead". I can still vividly recall seeing it on display many years ago under that title at my local video store in one of those long gone over-sized boxes. It's worth hunting down in my opinion.
Re: Nothing but the Night
I just received this dvd this afternoon and tried it out on the dvd player, just to check the image quality.
And i can say the image looks quite good.

Unfortunately when choosing English audio there are forced (so it seems) Italian subtitles.
There seems to be no way of removing them.
Same thing, or something like that, was the case with the Italian release of "Dr. Terror's House of Horror" but somehow there was a way to get around that.
Since the company 'Pulp Video' is behind both releases the same thing might apply here, but i can't recall what it was.
Playing the movie on my dvd-rom player i can watch the movie in English without the Italian subtitles without any problems.
Besides the mentioned problem it is still a nice dvd release.
Re: Nothing but the Night
It finally got here, and I just finished watching it!!! Thank you all so much for your help!!! Have a great day. Cheers!
P.S. I liked it. Interesting storyline.......................
And of course with Mr. Lee AND Mr. Cushing, what more can one say.............. :
Re: Nothing but the Night
If you want "Dr Terrors House of Horrors" on dvd. Amicus has released on dvd and I have that one. They sell it as a single copy as well. Including audio commentary with Jonathan Sothcott and another person which I can't remember the name of. Great film. Very uneasy and the cast. Marvelous.

Re: Nothing but the Night
