Re: Nothing But The Night
There's a cheaper DVD (code-2) released in Germany, it has english audio.
Called "Das Dunkel der Nacht" (translates The Darkness of Night). On Amazon.de it's only 7.95 Euro.
The cover of the dvd is in german of course, but the distributor made a shamefully mistake by putting wrong actors name, synopsis and pictures on the cover. All information given belongs to a film called "The Uncanny", but on the disc there's "Nothing but the Night". Picture quality is pretty poor, but as I said: good price.

Re: Nothing But The Night
I went to my local dvd store on wednesday this week and I was so happy to see the german release of "Nothing But the Night" there. And very cheap.
I like this film a lot. It is like Mr Lee said: "One of the best casts".
It would have been better if the film would have had more time and more money. According to "The Authorised Screen History" by Jonathan Rigby it had only 30 days of filming. The child actors are the best. Can you imagine anyone else but Gwyneth Strong in the film?. She scared me.
Re: Nothing But The Night
For those of you on this side of the pond; 'Nothing but the Night' is showing on Cable 'Encore' channels on the 25th of October 2008.
This is the first time I have ever seen this film offered on Television....I have this film and enjoy watching it!
Cheers,
Helen
Re: Nothing But The Night
I have Nothing But The Night on a DVD,featuring two movies.one is The Skull, and The Other Nothing But The Night, both on the same disc.it was distributed by a company called Onyx Media International.I have been searching for this movie for years,so when i saw it on ebay,i snapped it up.It's great to know there is a much better quality region 2 disc avaialble. The music is absolutely wonderful, especially the beautiful sleepy jazz version of 10 green bottles at the beginning.

Re: Nothing But The Night
There is an official release of this great movie, but it's an Italian release.
Il Cervello Dei Morti Viventi
Audio is in English. It has forced Italian subtitles. However, when you create a dvd-r for yourself from this dvd and deselect the subtitles when you make a copy of the disc, the subtitles are removed when playing the dvd-r.
Great disc.
