Stone of Destiny (updated)

Christopher Lee was informed by the director of the movie “Stone of Destiny”, that the marketing people and the distributors decided that the character that Mr. Lee plays, who begins to the tell the story of what happened around 50 years ago, is not necessary to the film. Therefore Christopher Lee, no longer appears on the screen anywhere throughout the movie.

 

 

Regarding recent comments published on the internet about Christopher Lee, which appear to be blaming the director for the cut, we would like to add that when we spoke with Mr. Lee on the telephone, at no time did he make any of those remarks. He said that he thought that the Director, Charles Martin Smith, did a very good job in the movie and that they maintained an excellent relationship.
